Fabiola Alba-Vivar
Assistant Professor of Economics
Wake Forest University
I am an applied microeconomist working on Labor, Education and Development Economics. My research focuses on the effects of (better) transportation on college access and choice and how college reputation affects labor market outcomes. In other work, I study the spillover effects of large policies in education markets and health outcomes.
I currently have ongoing projects in Peru and the Dominican Republic.

For LATAM/Peruvian academics:
I am a co-organizer, alongside other outstanding Peruvian economists, of the Seminario MAP. These virtual sessions, held every third Monday, highlight applied microeconomics research in Peru. If you are interested in participating, please submit your work at the beginning of each Fall semester. You can email your paper or extended abstract to microaplicadaperu@gmail.com. Presentations are welcome in either Spanish or English, and the audience is adaptable to both languages.
