Born and raised in Lima (Peru), Fabiola Alba-Vivar completed her BA in Economics at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, where she has also worked as an Instructor in the Department of Economics.
Prior to graduate school, she worked at JPAL (LATAM) and as a pre-doctoral fellow at Princeton University's Industrial Relations Section (Department of Economics). Fabiola holds an MA in Economics from Brown University (2019), and an MPhil (2023) and Ph.D. (2024) in Economics and Education from Columbia University.
Today, Fabiola is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Wake Forest University.
